{London} Pizza Pilgrims 🍕

Pizza Pilgrims is currently second (right behind Franco Manca) on my Top 5 London Pizzerias. As you can see in the photo below, we tried their Margherita Pizza 🍕 on a gloomy rainy day. We felt so much happier after eating the last bit of it!

If you are in Soho and fancy a proper Neapolitan-style pizza this is the right place for you. Highly recommended 😉

{London} Pizzeria Rustica

We live in Chiswick so when we are in the mood for a pizza we naturally choose Franco Manca on Chiswick High Road rather than heading south, but a few days ago we decided (at last) to give Pizzeria Rustica a go.
The place is small and cosy, pleasant looking, but… that’s it. I have to say that we haven’t tried anything else apart from the pizza, but we won’t come back ever again.

First of all they use an electric oven (if I wanted to eat a pizza baked in an electric oven I would’ve baked it at home), secondly the pizza was extremely crispy (I mean, crispy is fine, but when they bring you something that looks more like a flatbread than a pizza…) and last but not least their pizzas are simply overpriced.

As italians, pizza lovers and foodies we left this place extremely disappointed and with the feeling that we wasted more than 30 pounds. We’ll definitely continue to choose Franco Manca with their brick oven, their amazing staff and their fair prices.

{London} Franco Manca

Hey, pizza lovers! London calling 😉

We all deserve a treat now and then and in my opinion having a pizza is one of the best treats ever.

People have their own preferences: thin crust, thick crust, deep pan, hand tossed, with tomato sauce, without tomato sauce, fully loaded or… with hot dog stuffed crust (I’m not joking, ask for it at Domino’s)

But, as far as I’m concerned, when I feel the need to eat something tasty and not too far from my flat, I naturally choose Franco MancaContinue reading
